You'll also watch videos on observational astronomy and read review papers on galaxy evolution. This tutorial provides an overview of the tools we use in our research.

Research is about asking new questions and finding answers to unsolved problems. You'll need to be comfortable with uncertainty, encountering roadblocks, and developing resourcefulness to tackle challenges without giving up.

The goal of undergraduate research is to help you discover your interests and gain experience in the research process. As you work through the tutorial, you may find the topics exciting or realize they’re not the right fit for you.
